Ball check valve application

This 40mm ball check valve is a check valve in which the closing member, the movable part to block the flow, is a ball. Reverse flow of fluids is required to move the ball toward the seat and create a seal. The interior surface of the main seats of a ball check valve are more or less conically-tapered to guide the ball into the seat and form a positive seal when stopping reverse flow and to avoid the risk of a pump recycling and burning out. This is a high quality ball check valve that is ideal for sewage, waste water, and liquid manure applications.

40mm Ball check valve design features

This ball check valve is reliable, quiet, and specially designed for polluted thick and viscous liquids.
When fluid is flowing through this ball check valve, the ball is lifted by the liquid and guided into the housing, totally out of the way of the fluid. This ensures that the is no narrowing of the internal flow capacity of the outflow system i.e. very low head loss due to full clearance.  When the flow of fluid reduces, the ball drops accordingly. While descending/returning back into the closed position as the flow stops, the ball self cleans, ensuring that no debris impacts on the quality of seal (in the closed position). This ball check valve can be installed vertically or horizontally.
